Is there no end to the garbage we are fed on a daily basis from news media on both the left and right? I started this blog in order to weed through the garbage and get to the facts.

I began my political activism in high school when I first got involved with local politics in the Jacksonville, Florida area. After working as a field organizer for Obama’s presidential campaign in 2008 (in Athens, Ohio) I was enlisted as a political columnist for the Principia Pilot in Elsah, Illinois. When I moved back to Florida in 2009, I decided to start this blog and contribute my opinions to the Orlando Sentinel as well.
